Tools: House Maps
Google Maps integration allows you to easily view an interactive map with everyone's address plotted. Upon clicking on someone's name or icon, you get a popup with their phone, name, address, etc.
Tools: File Library
Each ward is given their own file library where they can upload/delete an assortment of documents relating to their quorums or classes. Often these are miscellanous PDF's, PowerPoints, Word Documents, etc.
Tools: Yearbook
The yearbook tool displays everyone's portrait in the largest size available along with their name and contact details. This format closely resembles a yearbook and is a great place for people new to the ward to come and see the names and faces of the youth and their leaders.
Tools: Reporting
In this tool any user can create their own custom report selecting from a list of all fields available to them in the database. They can give the report a name which is then saved and can be viewed by all users of the ward.
Additionally, users can check a box to be a subscriber of any report and it will be emailed to them on the first day of every month. If the report is one of the three built-in individual reports (my attendance, my duty to god, my personal progress), then the parents will also be included in the subscription (provided their email address is filled in on the youth's profile).
Module: Duty to God
This is one of four modules that can be turned on or off by the ward administrators and facilitates the tracking of the duty to god requirements for each young man in the ward.
Requirements are easily checked off using a very simple and straight forward interface. Youthcan check off their own requirements, but not other's. Leaders and administrators can update anyone's requirements.
All requirement completions are tracked with a timestamp of who checked off the requirement on what date. Administrators can view a complete log of all updates.
Module: Scouting
Similar to the duty to god module for the basic scouting rank advancements. This module does not attempt to track scouting in the level of detail found in TroopMaster, but it should easily allow leaders to see each young man's rank advancement status. The system in place mimics the simple checkbox requirements found in the colored pages of the scouting handbook.
Module: Attendance
Another optional module which provides the ability to track youth attendance on both Sundays and weeknight activities. The results are then able to be viewed through the reporting tool.
Module: YW Personal Progress
Similar to duty to god and scouting modules. Does not attempt to cover in-depth the personal choice / optional personal progress requirements, but gives the basic framework for a check off of all 7 requirements in each of the 6 categories.
